Circular saw
Electric drill
1/8" drill bit
11/64" drill bit
Chisel
Utility knife
Hammer
Instructions provided are for single unit JambBrace.
Remove door trim.
Remove debris, nails and shims from 1/2" space on both sides of frame
Line up deadbolt hole in JambBrace with door frame deadbolt hole, once in place shim.
(Recommended that you remove weather stripping.) Secure frame using 3 1/2" screws provided. Must also shim behind each hinge and use two 3 1/2" screws for each hinge into trimmer. (Use two holes closest to center frame.)
Drill 11/64" pilot holes through JambBrace for Strike Plate screws. Use 1-1/4" thread cutting screws provided to attach Strike Plates for dead bolt and door knob.
Re-apply both weather strip and trim.
